Let me Introduce Myself, My name is Jack Karsnia. I live in northern Minnesota and grew up on Rainy Lake. I have been fortunate to have spent my entire life in one of the most Beautiful areas of the country including Voyageurs National Park. Breathless scenery and abundant wildlife abound!

My History includes working at a houseboat rental in earlier years. Building and Designing Customs Lake Homes. Some including exclusive hand built Cabinetry. Commercial Cabinets and furniture. Successful Inventor/ Patent holder. Wildlife Artist. Oil paintings and Carvings.

Recently I have decided to expand my Creative talents to include Timber Frame furniture with a Artistic One of a Kind touch. I am not a furniture factory building replica pieces. My main focus is to build One of a kind One at a Time Commissioned Pieces. As you will see in my recent Projects I have Incorporated Canadian Shield “Rainy Lake” Soapstone! No Dremmel tools are used on My carvings, I use hand chisels , rasps and Heart and Soul.
